Từ những ngày đầu mới thành lập, HTX khẳng định vai trò của kinh tế tập thể là nòng cốt, ngày càng phát triển rõ nét góp phần lớn vào ổn định sản xuất phát triển kinh tế xã hội tại địa phương. Hiện tổng số thành viên Hợp tác xã Sầu Riêng Long Bình có 24 thành viên. Tổng diện tích trồng sầu riêng 72,2 ha, với năng suất đạt bình quân từ 8 đến 20 tấn/ha. Trong đó, 20 ha theo mô hình VietGap. Bên đó các thành viên HTX cũng đã xây dựng nhật ký điện tử – công cụ chuyển đổi số trong sản xuất nông nghiệp với 20ha trong ứng dụng phần mềm AutoAgri giúp minh bạch hóa từ khâu sản xuất cho tới người tiêu dùng.
Trong năm 2023, có trên 26ha sầu riêng cho thu hoạch với tổng sản lượng là 364 tấn, tương đương trên 21,1 tỷ đồng. Trung bình lợi nhuận đạt từ 700 triệu tới 1 tỷ đồng. Từ đó, các nông hộ có thêm chi phí mua sắm phương tiện sản xuất, tiếp tục mở rộng diện tích đất sản xuất, đầu tư thêm nhiều vườn cây mới, đời sống của xã viên HTX từng bước được nâng lên.
Tiếp tục những kết quả đạt được trong năm 2023, đơn vị đã triển khai nhiệm vụ năm 2024 với mục tiêu: Phấn đấu đạt năng xuất sản lượng thu hoạch năm 2024 là 450 tấn. Tiếp tục xây dựng chuỗi liên kết sản xuất và tiêu thụ từ vùng trồng tới cơ sở đóng gói để ổn định bền vững giá trị cây sầu riêng. Đồng thời, khuyến khích thu hút thành viên, tăng vốn góp và vốn huy động từ thành viên để tăng nguồn vốn hoạt động, tăng vốn đầu tư phát triển, khuyến khích liên kết kinh tế gia đình.
Tại hội nghị, đơn vị đã vui mừng công bố mã số vùng trồng xuất khẩu sang Trung Quốc được cấp là: VN – BPOR – 0074 và mã số vùng trồng xuất khẩu RD – BPOR – 0030 với tổng diện tích là 40,5 ha.
Phát biểu tại hội nghị, Tỉnh ủy viên, Bí thư Huyện ủy Phú Riềng Nguyễn Thị Xuân Hòa cho rằng: HTX Sầu Riêng Long Bình dù còn trẻ nhưng đã và đang đi đúng hướng, đạt hiệu quả thực tế, từ đó góp phần vào sự phát triển kinh tế – xã hội của địa phương. Thời gian tới, HTX chú trọng tăng cường liên kết trong và ngoài tỉnh với các đơn vị HXT, doanh nghiệp khác; nâng cao năng lực lãnh đạo quản lý của HTX dưới sự định hướng của chính quyền. Tăng cường tham gia các lớp tập huấn cho ban quản lý, thành viên HTX để nâng cao năng lực, tầm nhìn trong quản lý sản xuất kinh doanh.
Lãnh đạo huyện sẽ quan tâm đến các vấn đề như tạo điều kiện tiếp cận vốn, điện phục vụ hoạt động sản xuất kinh doanh của HTX Sầu riêng Long Bình nói riêng và các HTX khác trên địa bàn huyện nói chung. Bên cạnh đó, Bí thư Huyện ủy Phú Riềng Nguyễn Thị Xuân Hòa mong muốn đơn vị, thành viên HTX chú trọng nêu cao tinh thần trung thực trong sản xuất kinh doanh tạo uy tín ngày càng cao để đứng vững trên thị trường trong nước và thế giới.
